Inspired by the bedrooms in yesterday’s post, I thought I’d do a little poking around for beautiful nightstands. Here’s a mix of modern, traditional, industrial and vintage. Which one best suits you?
This Hickory Chair bedside table is light and open, yet crisp and dressy. I see this one holding stacks of books.
This Gustavian chest is a lot like the one in the Martha Stewart shot and is from Chelsea Textiles. You can buy it in smaller one-off shops like Angus & Company and Absolutely in Toronto.
For much less, you can pick up this Shaker-esque side table from Ikea.
Here’s another Chelsea Textiles piece from their mid-century collection. I love the military green finish and curved legs.
Restoration Hardware is all about reproducing historic designs including industrial tables like this. It’s the perfect foil for a pretty room, I think.
The classic modern Parson’s table is available for not too much money at West Elm. My favourite is the lacquered white one for sure. This is a perennial favourite.
I like a simple and airy pedestal table like this Pottery Barn example in a room that doesn’t require too much storage like a guest room. White is always right.
And one last Chelsea Textiles example that I like for its unusual shape and colour.
Finally a classic reproduction from Restoration Hardware with simple, elegant hardware and lots of storage.
I prefer vintage. But buying an antique is cheaper then buying a new piece made to look vintage.
I agree, but they are hard to find good images of! So these new options give the idea. Thanks Mary!
